How do I schedule a therapy appointment?Scheduling a therapy session is easy: 1. Fill out our Client Registration Form 2. A billing specialist will contact you within 24–72 business hours for insurance verification 3. Your clinician will then reach out to schedule your first therapy session 4. That’s it—no extra paperwork. Just show up and begin your journey.

What happens during my first therapy session?Your first session is an intake appointment where we: • Discuss why you’re seeking therapy • Explore your mental health and personal history • Establish therapy goals • Answer any questions you have This session helps us create a plan tailored to your unique situation and ensure a good therapist match.

Can therapy really help me?Yes. Therapy can be life-changing. Whether you're managing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, therapy offers tools for better emotional well-being and long-term change. You don’t have to go through it alone.

How long is a typical therapy session?Sessions generally last around 60 minutes for individuals, couples, or families. Some sessions may go longer depending on your needs. Your therapist will confirm the session length when scheduling.

What is your cancellation policy?We require at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in a fee.

Do you accept insurance for therapy?Yes. Nora Mental Health is in-network with most major insurance providers, including Medicare and Medicaid. Coverage depends on your location and the therapist you’re matched with. We verify your insurance before your first appointment so you know if you're covered or out-of-network. If you’re not in-network, we offer: • Affordable self-pay rates • Out-of-network billing (if your plan allows) Our billing team is here to support you and answer all insurance-related questions.

What are your therapy fees?Therapy rates vary based on the provider and service. If you’re a self-pay client, please complete the Client Registration Form so we can provide accurate pricing. We offer transparent pricing and affordable therapy options.

Is therapy confidential?Yes. Your sessions are 100% confidential and protected by HIPAA regulations. The only exceptions involve situations of safety, abuse, or legal requirements. Your therapist will explain your confidentiality rights in your first session.
