Janie Hernandez, LPCC-S
Janie Hernandez, LPCC-S,
Janie passionately offers a safe, non-judgmental space in which to provide therapeutic support. She utilizes a collaborative approach focusing on an individual’s strengths, needs, and goals. She has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through the prestigious Beck Institute and incorporates CBT techniques along with other evidence-based practices such as mindfulness, motivational interviewing, attachment styles, DBT and ACT.
Janie has a passion for supporting young adults, individuals struggling with life transitions, career changes, relationship challenges (including abuse and gaslighting), and navigating the difficulties of parenthood. She strives to make the process of connecting with a new clinician stress-free! Out of the office, you can find her cheering on her little soccer players or binge-watching Netflix. In her free time, she enjoys baking, pilates, diving into a good audio book, and attempting to keep her plants alive!

Sarah Saxbe, LISW-S
Sarah Saxbe, LISW-S, Sarah supports individuals, couples, and families through life challenges through a holistic, purposeful approach that gives clients tools to manage stressful life events. Much of her experience has been working with children and families in crisis, and she has a passion for helping teens with anxiety and depression. Sarah is an independently licensed Social Worker-Supervisor with 20+ years of experience. She has specialized experience in Women’s Health, Teen Health, Health Education, Sexual Health, and Trauma/Abuse. Sarah believes in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing as well as structured treatment plans with accountability to best assist and support her clients. In her free time, Sarah loves to read, travel, play with her vizsla Buda and spend time with her family (husband Andy and boys Bennett and Sawyer.

Katie Rapson-Stecula, LPCC-S
Katie Rapson-Stecula, LPCC-S, Katie is independently licensed as an LPCC and has 12+ years of experience providing mental health therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Her lived experiences with mental illness and addiction allows her to connect with her clients on a deeper level and for that she is grateful. Her areas of passion include LGBTQIA+ issues, addiction concerns, life transitions, and shame. She is dedicated to finding strengths and points of resilience, and she believes we all have the capacity for change and growth. Katie is happy to work with individuals 12 years of age and up, including couples and caregivers, on a multitude of challenges related to mental health and addiction. Katie is originally from Detroit, Michigan but has lived in Montreal, Vancouver, Philadelphia (go Sixers) and most recently Fort Collins, Colorado. In her free time, she mostly spends time with her son, two dogs and husband, enjoying all the good eats of Columbus.

Mack Wells, LPC
With an interest in working with children aged 6+, adolescents, and young adults, Mack specializes in assisting clients with navigating emotional fluctuations, behavioral concerns, relationship issues, and daily stress. Her passion includes helping clients gain clarity, develop coping skills, and achieve a more satisfying life. As an LPC under supervision, she uses an integrative approach with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based treatment interventions to provide tailored support for overcoming obstacles and enhancing well-being from a holistic standpoint. Mack is a continual learner herself and has attended many training courses and received certifications on a variety of clinical subjects including LGBTQIA+ and substance abuse challenges. When Mack is not hiking through parks or dancing to her favorite songs, Mack enjoys a movie night in with her feline best friend, Midnight. Her love for physical movement is complemented by cozy evenings with her black cat and a cup of tea.

Jennifer Avoli, LPCC
Jennifer has been a licensed professional clinical counselor in Ohio for over twenty years. She started her career working with children and families at Family Focus, a division of North Central Mental Health in Columbus, Ohio. She has helped children of all ages learn to cope with their emotions using a behavioral approach, to include anger management, communication skills, and conflict resolution. She has also worked with their families using a systems theory approach to further integrate positive change in the family. She later went on to work with clients in the private practice setting, and has helped many individuals of all ages, couples, and families improve their quality of life by providing a nurturing and safe space to open up and examine their lives. She uses a variety of modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, family therapy, behavioral therapy, and grief therapy. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you begin your journey to healing. In her free time she enjoys traveling, dining out, playing tennis, attending many of her kid’s sporting events, and playing with her dog, Presley, at the dog park.
