Lead Clinician

Diane Addison

Diane Addison Lead Clinician Carmel, Indiana

Diane C. Addison received her bachelor’s degree in social work and her master’s degree in clinical social work from Indiana University in Indianapolis. She went on to attend post-graduate studies at Santa Barbara Graduate Institute in Clinical Psychology with a Somatic Emphasis Studies in California. She is also a trained Bodyworker and certified in Somatic Emotional Release, Cranial Sacral Release, Energy Work, and has provided Body Psychotherapy services.

Diane has a wide range of work experience including, state mental health agencies, community outreach, residential treatment, school-based services with students, long-term care with seniors, psychiatric inpatient facilities, and private practice. Positions of leadership include Supervisor, Program Manager, and Clinical Director.

Diane is a mature, caring, seasoned mental health professional with 20+ years of experience helping clients with social and emotional issues develop techniques to deal with daily challenges. She is skilled at teaching others to tackle problems constructively through behavior modification, conflict resolutions, grief and loss, and Mindfulness. Different therapeutic interventions she can offer include CBT, DNMS, EMDR, Trauma Recovery, Solution Focused, Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy, and Christian-Focused Counseling. Currently, her practice is accepting individuals 18+ and couples.

Diane is available for face-to-face sessions at Nora Mental Health in Carmel, and by telehealth in your home if desired.

Brianna Gates Outpatient Clinician

Brianna Gates is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience in providing therapeutic support and clinical supervision.

With a compassionate and client-centered approach, Brianna specializes in helping individuals navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation. Drawing on a deep understanding of various therapeutic modalities, Brianna works collaboratively with clients to foster personal growth, resilience, and positive change.

Additionally, Brianna has a strong background in clinical supervision, offering guidance and support to emerging clinicians, helping them develop their skills and refine their therapeutic techniques.

 

With a commitment to ongoing professional development, Brianna is dedicated to supporting both clients and clinicians in achieving meaningful, sustainable progress.

Emily Schipp, LMHCA Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate

 

Emily holds a BA in Psychology and Crisis Counseling and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a minor in Pastoral Counseling. As a dedicated mental health professional, she has experience supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, and crisis-related challenges. She is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults, including those navigating life transitions or facing additional diagnoses such as terminal illness, traumatic brain injuries, and disabilities.

Her approach focuses on symptom management and equipping clients with effective coping strategies to reduce stress. Emily tailors her counseling methods to each individual’s unique needs and preferences, fostering a nonjudgmental space for healing. She incorporates client-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, and CBT modalities, always prioritizing authenticity, support, and collaboration in the therapeutic relationship.

Committed to ongoing education, Emily stays informed on the latest advancements in mental health care to provide the highest quality support. She strives to create a safe and compassionate environment where clients—whether children, adolescents, or young adults—can build self-esteem, navigate challenges, and process trauma with confidence.

Alex holds an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He brings experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns.

Passionate about fostering meaningful change, Alex works with adults and couples—particularly those navigating life transitions, communication breakdowns, and patterns rooted in attachment. His approach blends warmth, authenticity, and evidence-based techniques to create a collaborative and empowering therapeutic space.

Alex draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients identify unhelpful patterns, build resilience, and live in alignment with their values. For couples, he integrates attachment-based insights to promote secure connection, trust, and mutual understanding.
